Fixing Error 927 in Play Store

Last Updated Oct. 15, 2016

The 3 ways to fix this error that i am going to write are the basic Troubleshooters. They will be simple to follow but most often then not would solve your problem for sure.

Here, are the following methods which can be used for fixing this error 927 and other types of error related to google play store.

Method 1: Clear Cache & Data

Step 1: Go to Settings  > All > and then Select Google Play Store.

Step 2: Now simply stop the google play store application by selecting the Force Stop option. Also Clear Data and Cache Files by selecting the clear option listed below.
Step 3: After performing the above steps carefully again try to download or to update your applications from google play store.

Step 4: If the above method is not working than you should also try to uninstall the google playstore updated version by going to the application settings > All > Google Play Store > uninstall updates.

Method 2: Re-adding Google account

  • In this method to Solve Error 927 in play store, first login through your different gmail account by going to System Settings > Accounts > Google > Remove your Gmail accounts.
  • Now again Force Stop the google play application and then clear data and cache files (as we have done in Method 1).
  • Again go to the account settings option and then add your gmail account.
  • After doing the above steps nicely again try to download your applications from google play store.

Method 3: Checking Phone Memory

It happens many times that user can't able to download there application from google play store because there is no enough memory available for downloading the application. In this case I will recommend you to check your phone memory and then try to download your application from google play store.

So, These are the simple but effective methods by which user can easily fix Error 927 and other types of errors which are related to Play store. I also have to say that these methods which I have listed above are not the permanent solutions, whenever you again face this error you can re-apply these methods for your error codes.

  7. Thanks but none of these methods worked for me. I have a xperia phone which was rooted. I mistakenly deleted the google play services which was re-installed as apk. Since then, my google play had stopped downloading despite trying many methods including the above but none had worked.

    1. Try unrooting the phone....the root again without deleting google play services. That's the issue with rooting. You could tamper with system files!
