Step 1:Removing Google Account.

Goto Settings > Accounts > Select Google > Remove account/Delete account. This will delete your Play store account. Do not worry you can set it up again with the same credentials later on.

Step 2: Clearing Caches & Data.

Now Goto Settings > Application Manager >All Tab > Google play Store > Clear Data and Cache. This will Clear the Cache from Google play store app.
Do the Above Same steps to clear Cache from Google Service Framework, Google play Services and Download Manager too.

Step 3:Adding Gmail account again.

Now Reboot Your Device to Add your gmail account again which we removed in Step 1. So navigate to Settings > Accounts > Google > add Account.

These Steps Worked for me to solve Error Retrieving Information from Server Rpc s-7 aec-0, I hope it works for you too. If this doesn't solve your problem then you can go one step further and try Uninstalling and installing google play store again.

Feel free to share any other method that helped you to get rid of this error. Write it in the below comment box.

  1. This error was driving me nuts. It started out as a connection error then after letting the device (and me) cool down for 24 hours it came back as the error message above. I'd tried reset to factory settings twice and lots of other things but this fix worked and everything back to normal. Thank you for sharing this. Very grateful.

  2. Hi Android Queen, Its great to know that this helped you to solve the issue. Thanks for letting us know.
