did not help!
ReplyI have all three solutions. Managed to install the program, in this case D-Link 4G USB Modem, using Solution 3. Ran beautifully Then I switched off my PC. When I started my PC again and tried to run the program, I get the same message except this time the offending file is the program and not the installation file which had given me problems earlier. Anyone know how to solve this? Windows 10 really sucks!!!
ReplyThe most permanent (and easiest) fix is actually to change on setting in the Group Policy editor. If any one is interested, respond and I will post how to do it. Takes a couple of minutes and is so simple. Fraser

Replysame problem occurs for me when come back to regular account its in blocking stage...can't find proper solution... better to go for win 7 thats the only better solution
ReplyI tried all of these and none worked. Then i checked the group policy: computer configuration\windows settings\security settings\local policies\security options then for the user account control: admin approval mode for administrators it was set to not defined. So i set it to disable and rebooted a few times to be sure and now the account launches the program.
